Applying systemic for Deodar Aphid

Mitchell Pest Control applies systemic insecticides that protect the trees from attack of sucking insects such as aphids,scale, psyllids, and any insect that consumes the plant carbohydrates that are inside the plant tissues. The material is applied at the root zone and on large trees can take upto 3 months to be taken up into the leaves. Deep Root Fertilization can assist in material uptake.

The amount of material that is applied is based on the Diameter at Breast Hieght (DBH).  It is one of our more costly services, however it is extremely effective. On heavey infestation a tree spraying is needed to reduce insect population, then systemic is applied to prevent future attacks.
